Fighting scene between dark elf and centaur

Okay I see the centaur, and I like the look though I don't understand what the horn thing behind him is supposed to be. I think the color scheme you chose for the character makes him really jump out of the page at you.  It also looks like he has a spear with a tip that's still boiling as though it were fresh from being forged.

So my big question though is where is the Dark elf he's fighting? Or did the weapon scare the Dark elf off?
